Plenty of agencies in the Emirates will sell you a ticket to Tehran. Fewer can tell you which Tehran airport it lands at, what the baggage allowance really is on that fare, or who will reissue it when the airline moves the flight two days before you go. On the Iran route those are the questions that decide the trip.
Al Jazira Travels has sold Iran from Deira since 1999. We are the General Sales Agent for Mahan Air, so we deal with the airline itself rather than through another agency’s allocation, and the desk speaks Farsi as well as Arabic and English.
Five questions for any agency selling Iran
An agency that cannot answer these plainly is reselling a ticket it does not control.
Do you deal with the airline directly?
Our answer:For Mahan Air, yes — we are its General Sales Agent in Dubai. Sepehran Airlines is also searched directly by this site.
Which Tehran airport does this flight use?
Our answer:It is on every flight card: Imam Khomeini (IKA) or Mehrabad (THR). We keep a separate route page for each, because they are not interchangeable.
What happens when the airline changes the schedule?
Our answer:Schedule changes on Iran routes are common. We reissue Mahan tickets ourselves, and for every booking the desk is the one that calls you — not a call centre abroad.
Can I pay in the UAE, in dirhams?
Our answer:Yes. Prices on this site are in UAE dirhams with every tax itemised, and you pay by card here or at our Deira counter.
Can I talk to someone in Farsi?
Our answer:Yes, every day from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM, by phone, on WhatsApp or in person at Port Saeed.
What we bring to the Iran route
The airline’s own agent
As Mahan Air’s GSA we see the airline’s seats and rules first-hand, and we can act on a booking rather than ask somebody else to.
Several Iranian airlines in one search
Mahan Air and Sepehran Airlines are searched directly, side by side with the other carriers our sources sell.
Three UAE airports
Tehran from Dubai, Sharjah or Abu Dhabi; Mashhad and Shiraz from Dubai — each with its own route page.
Both directions
Tickets from Iran to the UAE too, for family coming to visit, paid for from here.
Booking Iran with us
- 1
Check your passport and status
Entry rules depend on nationality and are set by the authorities. UAE residents should check their residence will still be valid on return.
- 2
Search or message the desk
Search live fares here, or send your dates on WhatsApp in Farsi, Arabic or English.
- 3
Confirm the airport and the bag
IKA or THR, and the baggage on that fare — both shown before you pay.
- 4
Keep the reference
If the airline moves the flight, the reference is how we find and reissue it.

Questions we get asked
Which is the best travel agency in the UAE for Iran?
Judge any agency on the questions above. Ours are answered on this page: Mahan Air’s General Sales Agent, both Tehran airports, a Farsi-speaking desk, and prices in dirhams with every tax shown.
Is it better to book Mahan Air through you or elsewhere?
The fare is set by the airline. What differs is who holds the booking when it changes — and as the airline’s GSA, that is something we can act on directly.
Do you book flights within Iran?
Ask the desk with the cities and dates. We will tell you plainly what we can issue from here and what is better arranged another way.
Can I book for someone who is already in Iran?
Yes. Search from the Iranian city to the UAE, enter the passenger’s name exactly as in their passport, and pay here. The e-ticket goes to whoever you choose.
Planning a trip to Iran?
Tell us the city, the dates and who is travelling. We will come back with the flights, the airport and the baggage on each — in Farsi if you prefer.
